Hey church family! Here’s what you need to know for this week Sound City.
CELEBRATING | STUDENT MINISTRY MOVIE NIGHT
This week we're celebrating the movie night hosted by our Student Ministry this past Saturday night. A couple dozen leaders and students gathered together for this night of of movie fun, food, games, and fellowship. One of the highlights was seeing how God had encouraged the hearts of so many of our students to invite their non-Christian friends to come and join the fun, build new friendships and hear a little more about Jesus. Join us this week in prayer and thanksgiving for this evidence of God's grace to us that he would give our students such rich times of fellowship together. Join us also in praying this week for those guests that came to the event, and that God would use their experience of fun at this simple movie night as a catalyst to draw them near to Jesus in a saving way!
THIS WEEK AT SOUND CITY BIBLE CHURCH
THIS SUNDAY’S SERMON | JOHN 6:1–15 | THE FOURTH SIGN
As we've continued our journey through the gospel account of the Apostle John, we've seen Jesus continue to offer—with increasingly clarity—claims that he is, in fact, God. This Sunday we watch Jesus' true identity come into view with even greater clarity as we witness his forth sign-miracle together. Through this passage we'll also grow in our understanding of the abundance that's showered on all who God reconciles to himself through Christ. For all this and more, come join us on this Sunday as we dive into John 6 together.
