August 18th is the 5th annual Beach Baptisms & BBQ. Come for free food, fellowship, and to celebrate the work that God is doing in the lives of the people at Sound City. We will be baptizing folks in the Puget Sound, and if you haven’t been before it’s a joy-filled and meaningful time together as a church family.
On Sunday July 7th, we'll be gathering for a special family style service. As much as we love studying the Bible, a few times each year, we take a break from the formal teaching time to focus on prayer and praise. These services, while still fully steeped in Scripture, allow us to have an extended time to sing, reflect, pray, and celebrate the Lord's Table. Kid's ministry will be available for children four and under.
Let's gather from 7-8:30pm at the church offices June 7th for a time of singing and prayer. In praying together as a church family, we experience unity, support one another, learn together, and grow to love God and one another more deeply. Life is weighty, and Jesus invites us to lay that burden down at his feet in exchange for his peace.
It's time for our third annual Bottle Drive supporting the Pregnancy Resource Center in Everett, running now through Father's Day June 16th! Take a bottle and bring it back to the Connect desk with change, cash, or even a check. The Pregnancy Resource Center is a non-profit offering resources and hope to local women and families in difficult circumstances.
Join us May 18th at 9:30am in Foundation Church Everett for Steadfast | Care. The conference is lead by Robert Cheong, Pastor of Care at Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, Kentucky. The goal of this half-day conference is to break down some of the mystery surrounding care in the local church and to help you understand how God desires to use church members to care for one another.
Join Sound City April 19th at Lynnwood High School, for one of our two Good Friday services at 6:30pm and 8:00pm, as we explore death that brings life (John 19:16-42). The 6:30pm service will include full Kid's Ministry and the 8:00pm service will be family style, with no Kid's Ministry.
