Discussion Questions

  1. Consider the statement, “the resurrection of Jesus is the first and most important step in God’s New Creation project.” How is this truth surprising or challenging to you? How might it affect the way you live?
  2. Of the evidences presented for the resurrection of Jesus, which is most compelling to you? 
  3. When you think about the struggles and sufferings of this present life, how does the resurrection of Jesus give you hope? How does the promise of future resurrection give you endurance?

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that we would live as resurrection people: trusting in Jesus’ resurrection, looking forward to our own, and working in the world to reflect God’s New Creation.
  2. Pray that God would give us opportunities to share the good news with those who haven’t yet believed in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
