Today’s youth experience many unique challenges. Not only is there more technology and digital connection than ever before, but it often seems like this technology serves to keep people apart instead of bringing them together. Students, like all people, were built for relationship with God and with other people. They need consistent and committed friends of all ages, who will walk with them through life and love them regardless of their struggles.
At Sound City Bible Church, we recognize that students are a vital part of the church community, the next generation of members and leaders. We believe that it is important for students to have an age-specific ministry that comes alongside their parents to support, love, and disciple them. Sound City Students exists to help students to know, love, and live for Jesus.
Wednesday Nights: 6:45-8:30p.m. Students 6th-12th grades are invited to join us for weekly gatherings throughout the school year.

What to expect?
Our student nights are a time for fun, friendship, singing, bible teaching, and small group discussion (broken out by age and gender). The goal for these student nights is for students to learn about Jesus and to grow in their faith while having a fun and engaging time with other students and adult leaders.
Parents, here at Sound City we believe God has called you to be the primary disciple-makers of your children. The Student Ministry desires to come along side you, as you love and shepherd your teens. In an effort to partner and keep you informed we will regularly post important information and resources. We invite you to head over to Sound City's blog or click the Parent Resources tab on the left menu above, to get the most recent Student Ministry News.
We are always planning the next fun and engaging Student Ministry event. For a list of our upcoming events check out the current 'Student Ministry Parent Newsletter' on the blog. You can also head over to scbc.do/events to find out what's going on church-wide, or check out the Sound City Students Facebook page.
