About the Series
In these beautiful letters, Paul shares his deep heart of love for the people of the church and encourages them to remain faithful to Jesus, even in the face of opposition and persecution.
While there are some words of correction at places in these two letters, primarily Paul is building his hearers up by consistently pointing them back to the work of Jesus on the cross and forward to the return of Jesus in glory.
“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole
spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
