About the Series
God saved his people Israel out of slavery in Egypt and set them apart to be uniquely holy among the nations. Despite their newfound freedom, the people of Israel have many faults and flaws. The book of Leviticus answers an incredibly important question: how can sinful mortals be in close relationship with a holy, righteous, and eternal God?
While many of the themes and ideas presented in the book of Leviticus may seem foreign to us due to cultural distance, the reality is that we cannot understand the life and ministry of Jesus without this important book. He is the high priest, he is the sacrifice, he is the tabernacle, and he is the holiness of God—all at the same time!
