Why Church?

As we head into the summer months, life naturally shifts. Schedules change, travel picks up, and our normal rhythms get disrupted. While this season can be refreshing, it can also slowly pull us away from our church community. For Sound City, this summer also comes on the heels of a season of change. In moments of such transition, it’s natural to ask: Is the church really worth it? The goal of this series is to answer that question with a confident “yes”. 

Each week, we’ll explore one of the key images Scripture uses to describe the people of God as a way to remind us that the church is God’s Plan A for bringing restoration to each of our lives, and through us to the world. By the end of this series, my prayer is that every person who calls our church home would be more convinced than before that the church is not just worth attending occasionally. It’s worth giving our lives for.
