WISE | Navigating Life’s Complexities

The book of Proverbs is written from the perspective of a father instructing a young man in the way of wisdom, but can be generalized to apply to anyone who wants to grow in their ability to navigate complex realities with skill.

The intent of this series is to help our church grow in wisdom, especially as it pertains to relationships.

Much of Proverbs reads like a catalog of sayings with little organizational logic. Therefore, a series in Proverbs lends itself to a topical approach more than any other book in the Bible. Given the vast array of areas covered in Proverbs and the limited number of weeks we have for this series, we will be focusing primarily on topics related to interpersonal relationships (e.g. friendship, conflict, marriage, parenting, etc.). As we give practical instruction on how to navigate the complexities of interpersonal relationships, the hope is that our church will grow in our Mark of Sacrificial Friendship.
