Discussion Questions

  1.  Where in your life have you (past or present) struggled with hopelessness? Share your answers with your group.

  2. Consider and discuss how the biblical promise of hope through Christ speaks to our feelings of hopelessness.

  3. Who is God asking you to share the hope of Jesus with during this Advent/Christmas season? Share your response with other believers, and ask them to help you stay accountable to talking with those God has put on your heart this season.

     

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that God would embed a firm hope in Jesus deep down in our hearts, and that we would each live out that hope in Christ in all of life.

  2. Pray that God would soften the hearts of those with whom he would have us share the good news of Jesus’ coming, this Christmas season.
