Student Ministry Serve Night Recap

On Wednesday, March 30, twenty-five students and leaders help package 1,296 pounds of carrots for Food Lifeline. Food Lifeline is a Shoreline-area non-profit that works to come up with creative solutions to stopping hunger, including redirecting good food from manufacturers, farmers, grocery stores and restaurants that might otherwise go to waste. They provide 88,000 meals a day to local food assistance programs!

At Sound City Students, we love to study God's word and we love to have fun together, but we also believe that it's important for our students to learn how to contribute to the needs of others. As a leader, I was very encouraged last night by how much joy and excitement I saw from our students. No joke, they were as excited about serving last night as they were at our laser tag event this past fall!

Like everything else in the church, the student ministry is entering into a season of transition with our move. If you would like more information about Sound City Students or to find ways to get involved, let us know by sending an email to students@soundcitybiblechurch.com.
