Using Your Gifts | Ephesians 2:4-10

Discussion Questions

  1. Honestly assess the perspective you have when you walk into this building each Sunday. Are you entering in with more of a “Guest” perspective, or a “Host” perspective? How would those who know you best answer for you? Share your answers with your group.
  2. What did you learn from today’s message about “good works” and the role they’re to play in your living out of your God-given purpose? What might God be asking you to do different as a result of what you’ve learned?
  3. What areas of passion, areas of need, and day-to-day mission fields has God put right in front of you, where he’s asking you to regularly use the spiritual gifts he’s given you to serve him and his people? Will you do it?

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that God would help us individually, and as a church, to know and use our spiritual gifts to accomplish every good work God prepared for us to accomplish. Pray that God would use us to influence many toward faith in him, as they see our good works done in Jesus’ good name (cf. Matt. 5:16, 1 Pet. 2:12).
