When Jesus saves us, he saves us from our sin and for good works (Eph. 2:10). People often miss out on the joy that can be experienced by joining with Jesus and serving alongside him in his mission. One simple way that Christians can begin serving is by helping serve their local church. At Sound City Bible Church, we are blessed to have many faithful servant-hearted volunteers.

Sunday Operation Teams
Our Connect Desk Team helps guests and members by providing information, assistance, and care in various ways. They are often the first point of contact when others are looking for information about various church events and resources.
Financial Stewards collect the offering, then oversee the secure counting and processing of the Sunday giving.
General setup & teardown
The setup and teardown teams make sure everything is set up properly and then torn down after services have ended on Sunday. This person is a generalist who gets to help out in many different ways.
Our Hospitality Team works hard behind the scenes to make sure our Sunday attendees are cared for by preparing coffee, tea, and other refreshments.
Setup breakfast team
Many people show up early to set up for our worship gatherings. If you have a heart to bless and serve these early morning volunteers with a hot breakfast on Sundays, this would be a great way to serve.
The parking team is responsible for providing clear direction and a warm welcome to church members and visitors as they enter the property. They are also responsible for placing the parking signs out in the morning and collecting them after all services have ended.
Our Security Team works to provide a distraction-free worship service and to maintain a safe environment in our children’s ministry and throughout the church, on both Sundays, and during other midweek events as needed.
The trailer team is responsible for picking up the trailer early on Sunday mornings from storage, transporting it to Lynnwood High, then taking the trailer back after the worship gatherings are ended.
The mission of our Welcome Team is to greet people, to help everyone who comes though our doors feel welcomed, and to set an overall friendly and welcoming tone for Sunday mornings. Whether helping people navigate to their end destination, answering questions, or simply offering a warm welcome, our welcome team plays a key role in setting the tone for Sundays.
We are always looking for talented people with musical gifts to help lead our church into greater worship of King Jesus.
The Production Team oversees all of the audio, lighting, worship slides, and stage management on Sundays.

Administration / office*

If you are available during the week and can dedicate a couple of hours as projects arise we would love to have you help!
If you have skills and time, Sound City Bible Church could probably use you. Please let us know!
