What a year this has been for Sound City Students! From individual growth amongst the students to lasting relationships that have been built, this has been an amazing year. Last night over 40 students and leaders from Sound City and Foundation Church gathered to celebrate our last regular Wednesday night gathering for the year. I am so encouraged by what God has done in these recent months.
Honoring Graduating Students
End of the year also means it’s graduation season. As a church, we want to celebrate students that reach certain milestones like graduating and moving on to the next chapter of life. This year we are so excited to be honoring one graduating student. Sound City, I invite you to join us in praying for protection and the Lord’s leading over our very first graduating student, who will be moving away to college this summer.
Student Summer Camp
However, the end of the year does not mean that we are finished. Summer is a great time to get out and enjoy God’s beautiful creation together, to continue to build on the relationships that have been formed, and to make new ones. One of the ways Sound City Students will do this is by taking time to get away for a few days. We are headed to Cascades camp in Yelm, WA from July 15 through July 18. If you’re a student who has not yet registered for camp, don’t wait! Go to SCBC.do/studentcamp for more information. For those of you who have registered, there is still space to bring a friend or two along.
Sound City, as I sit and reflect on this past year, I am overjoyed at God’s faithfulness to us. Thank you for an amazing year!
