Hello Sound City!
With the start of Summer comes the much-anticipated Students Summer Kick-Off Pool Party! In our third annual celebration of this event, Covenant Members Pam and Rick Crosby, graciously hosted the entire Sound City Youth Ministry for a sunny afternoon of delicious food and poolside fun.
As always, the students had no shortage of fun in the water. The main event was an hours-long game of King of the Hill Frog, in which students tried unseating one another from atop a massive inflatable amphibian. Other fun games included "spray-the-leader-in-the-ear-with-a-water-cannon" and Marco Polo.
We are so grateful to Pam and Rick for sharing their home with us. This event has truly become a staple for our students and allows both students and leaders the opportunity to bond with one another outside of our typical Wednesday night gatherings (which are on pause for the summer).
