“At the beginning of each school year we love to invite the students and student ministry volunteers onto the stage for prayer,” said Chris Vaughn, Sound City’s Student Ministry Director.
Reflecting on praying over the students on September 8th, he shared that, “since Sound City Students primarily operates outside of Sundays, this event serves as a visible reminder of the constant need to pray that both the students' and leaders' hearts would stay fixed upon the Lord.”
Let’s thank God now for the young people who call Sound City home, for the friends they invite to come and see, and for the many gifts and abilities that he has blessed them with. Let’s pray that God would bring them into closer relationship with him this school year, that he would protect them, give them courage, and fill them with hope in Jesus.
