August 2nd, we cheered on the Everett AquaSox to victory. We are thanking God today for this time of fellowship and connection with friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
Our third annual Bottle Drive benefiting the Pregnancy Resource Center in Everett was a huge success. We are praising God for the generosity he has given the people of Sound City.

What does it mean to follow Jesus? How do we run the race of life, and how do we live well? This month, 44 students and 15 leaders traveled to Yelm, Washington, leaning into these questions and sharing a time of fun and relationship building.
The 4th of July Celebration & BBQ was a huge success! The people of Sound City served the community of Edmonds well, providing 500 free hot dogs, otter pops, face painting, and prayer. What a joy to share the generosity and love of Jesus with others.
How can we love refugees? How can we love refugees as Jesus has loved us? This spring, a discipleship group set out to learn more. You’re invited to an upcoming gathering celebrating, assembling welcome kits, and to enjoy a meal as we pray for refugees in our community.
The Night of Prayer on June 7th was a beautiful time of rest, fellowship, and worship through prayer and singing. Let’s pray now and celebrate what God is doing.

This Mother’s Day, May 12th Sound City celebrated Child Dedications. As we promise to care for these families and support them in raising up the next generation, let’s thank God for them, for the faithful volunteers who serve them, and pray that God would work mightily among our children.
Everyone knows that it is very easy for a mother to lose track of who she is during the years “in the trenches.” Now I find myself looking around my empty house while everyone is at school and wondering, “Who am I?”
