Discussion Questions

  1. Based on Response #1 – Seeing & Believing: What significant experiences of “seeing and believing” have you had in your life that have caused or greatly encouraged your faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord? Share these with your group or accountability partners, and celebrate them together through prayers of thanksgiving.

  2. Based on Response #2 – Going & Telling: Who has God given you connection or relationship with that he’s asking you to “go and tell” about him (as a witness and an ambassador for him), and will you go and tell them?

  3. Based on Response #3 – Worrying & Fear: In what ways do you “worry and fear” sinfully, where you should be trusting God’s will and plan for you far more than you are? What will you do about it?

  4. Based on Response #4 – Selfishness & Expediency: In what areas of life do you reason that “the ends justify the means” when the means are at odds with biblical truth? In what ways are you so focused on pleasure and freedom from discomfort in this life that you fail to live now with your eternal life in view?

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that God would continue to use the signs and miracles of old (from the Scriptures) to stir belief, new life, and salvation in those who don’t yet know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

  2. Pray that God would use the signs of his grace that exist around us all the time to stir each one of us who claim the name “Christian” to ever greater: belief, assurance of faith, excitement to serve in his name, and excitement to go and tell others about who he is and about the salvation he’s made available to us in Jesus.
